A Berklee graduate and Herbie Hancock Institute finalist, Cecil took first place in both the Wilson Center Jazz Guitar Competition and the Lee Ritenour Six String Theory Competition, and has shared stages with heavyweights like Bill Charlap, Antonio Hart, and Nathan East.

Most recently, he’s been touring alongside the visionary trumpeter and sonic architect Chief Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott)—a collaboration that threads ancestral rhythm with electric improvisation.* Expect that same energy to echo through Missy Lane’s walls.
